Orlando Express is an all girls hockey program that was established in January 2017. Our mission is to provide an atmosphere for young women to participate in a positive environment while playing ice hockey.
Prior to our program, less than a handful of girls played on mostly all boys teams. This aspect created a challenging dynamic for the girls to feel like part of the team. Due to these challenges, we have had trouble retaining our female hockey players in the Orlando area. Our goal is to not only help them learn the game of hockey, but to provide a positive team atmosphere and help build their self-confidence through our training.
Ice hockey is a game of hard work, discipline and passion. We feel that these traits can be translated into other aspects of their lives. From academics to professional careers, we are teaching these girls what it takes to be successful in the world today.
