Bill Alcabes - Operations Manager

Coach Bill Alcabes brings endless energy and dedication to growing the sport of hockey. For more than a decade, he's developed beginners into AA and AAA players. He's also helped build teams and programs. Last year alone he coached two championship teams for The Express, and he served as an assistant coach on a coed team that brought home two tournament trophies. Bill's teams also won two house league championships.

Coach Bill credits a lot of his success to his education in psychology. He has used his background to help train and motivate young people to reach their potential. He is always looking for ways of teaching players how to take that crucial next step in their growth. He is even working on a big brother/sister program in which interested players can develop into student coaches and referees.

His newest contribution to hockey is as an operations manager responsible for building relationships in the girls hockey community enabling the sport to grow exponentially in the southeast!

Coach Young is going into his third SGHL season as the co-head coach of the 19U Orlando Express.
